Payment Policy & Insurance

We provide high-resolution medical solutions. We see your health in high detail and resolve your condition accordingly. So you feel better soon, and can return to a beautiful state of well-being.

Payment Policy: All medical visits require payment at the time of the appointment.

Cancellation Policy: No show or cancellations on day of appointment are charged the full cost of visit. Cancellations 24 to 48-hours in advance are charged 50% the cost of visit.

Upon request, we can provide a Superbill receipt – for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. All we do is provide you the Superbill receipt. All else is your responsibility. The Superbill is a detailed medical receipt that contains procedure codes, diagnosis codes, and the fees charged for your office visit. We cannot guarantee what reimbursement, if any, you may receive. We do not submit claims or call insurance companies directly. This is the responsibility of the patient.

If you have a PPO Insurance Plan (and submit a Superbill to your insurance company)

You may be reimbursed the percentage your individual plan allows for “out-of-network” providers. Functional Medicine doctors are not “in-network” preferred providers. You will need to ask your insurance provider what their reimbursement percentage is for our services.

If you have an HMO or Medicare Insurance Plan

We are happy to see you! – but your insurance plan will NOT reimburse you for our services. Again, I do NOT file insurance claims for any patients.  Medicare and HMO patients please do NOT file any insurance claims for Functional Medicine services (they for sure will not reimburse you; and it creates a mess of administrative “red tape” for me).  However, many of our patients simply pay out of pocket for our services, with the money they save on monthly premiums with HMO or Medicare.
